Plotline Library – DMCA & Copyright Policy

1. Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work (or a work you are legally authorized to represent) has been uploaded, copied, or distributed on Plotline Library without authorization, you may submit a formal written DMCA notice to our Designated Copyright Agent.

To be legally effective, your notice must include the following information:

• Identification of Copyrighted Work: A clear description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
• Identification of Infringing Material: The exact location or URL(s) on Plotline Library where the material is located, sufficient to allow us to locate and verify the content.
• Contact Information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• Accuracy & Perjury Statement: A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
• Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.

2. Processing & Counter-Notification Procedure

Upon receipt of a valid, complete DMCA takedown notice, Plotline Library will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the uploader.

If an author believes their content was removed by mistake or misidentification, they may submit a Counter-Notice containing:

• Identification of the material removed and its location before removal.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• A statement consenting to local federal jurisdiction (or applicable jurisdictional court) for legal proceedings.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid Counter-Notice, Plotline Library will forward it to the original claimant. If the copyright holder does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the removed material at our discretion.

3. Repeat Infringer Policy

Plotline Library enforces a strict repeat infringer policy. Accounts found to have repeatedly engaged in copyright infringement or submitted unauthorized third-party works will be subject to account suspension and permanent termination without prior notice.
